Sport and Spine Rehab Helps Support the Ragnar Relay and Back on My Feet

On September 21st and 22nd, several members of the Sport and Spine Rehab staff will support the efforts of Back on My Feet by volunteering at the Ragnar Relay, a 200(ish) mile relay race from Cumberland, MD to Washington, DC in which BoMF DC is the official charity sponsor.

BoMF DC will receive $100 for each volunteer provided. And if they reach their goal of 75 volunteers, they will be able to host 4 new members in the Back on My Feet program, which uses running to help the homeless in the area rebuild strength and confidence; ultimately becoming self-sufficient. And BoMF, which now has chapters in Washington DC, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Indianapolis, Atlanta and New York City, has had incredible results.

  • 75% of members consistently maintain 90% attendance at morning runs.
  • 50% of members successfully move from living in dependency to an independent lifestyle.

Want to help?

The Ragnar Relay is right around the corner and BoMF DC is looking for volunteers to help out on the course.  So if you are a friend of Sport and Spine Rehab and would like to volunteer some time for a great cause, don’t delay – sign up for a shift today, as BoMF has PRIORITY access to the locations closest to the DC metro area!
