We’re proud to announce that after 25 years of providing top-notch care and driving ground-breaking research, our clinics have been named an Official Research Site by the NIH. They provided us with a 2.2 million dollar grant to continue our fight to find safe and reliable treatment methods for pain.
National Institutes of Health
The National Institute of Health is a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The NIH is our country’s top agency for medical research.
What Does This Mean for You?
While we are incredibly excited to continue researching and educating our communities, you are probably asking yourself: “what does this mean for me?”
It means that you will probably witness us working with patients (maybe even yourself!) to collect data for our research. We’re working in conjunction with Dr. Amy Baxter, CEO and Founder of Pain Care Labs, to test clinically safe ways to treat pain without medication or surgery.
As Seen on Shark Tank
You may recognize Dr. Baxter as she appeared on Shark Tank in 2014 with her trademarked product “Buzzy” to combat youth needle phobia. Today, she has expanded Pain Care Labs and created various products to provide safe pain management.
We look forward to conducting research with Dr. Baxter to advance the field of safe pain management!
More on the Kaizo Clinical Research Institute:
Kaizo Clinical Research Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the best evidence and the top treatments for our patients.
- Each year, hundreds of patients participate in our clinical trials, which enables us to provide the latest evidence-based care.
- Our patient and community network across five clinics allows for the most authentic conditions possible to provide real-world and clinically-applicable solutions for pain.
- Findings are validated and published internationally by our Institutional Review Board which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Having our own Institutional Review Board sets us apart from most other clinical research centers out there, as it means we have the credibility to review and approve clinical research proposals rather than outsourcing our studies to an external board.
Have you participated in our research before?
